HBTU
HBTU is an excellent coupling reagent that suppresses racemization. Its reactivity is similar BOP,
but it liberates tetramethylurea upon reaction instead of carcinogenic HMPA. Couplings using
HBTU proceed smoothly and can be enhanced by adding HOBt.
